



From the age of five, prayer boxes have been a part of my life. I still remember fondly my family's first one: a wooden Bible case where I would place little scraps of paper written with my hopes and aspirations. When I left home I continued the prayer box tradition, making my own prayer boxes out of whatever I could find (usually a shoe box). I still keep the old ones in my attic. Though they are just boxes, every one of them is special to me, because they hold the most important and powerful gift God has given me: my Prayers.
