Little Prayer Box: Online Prayers of intercession

"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."(James 1:5)

Sometimes when I'm facing a problem, I forget that the very first thing I should ask God for is wisdom. Not money. Not power. Not intervention. Not healing. Not spiritual events. But wisdom.

God's wisdom is the key that will unlock every door in my life. It will turn my every failure into success. So, I resolve to stop wasting my prayer power begging God for things I think I need and spend some time instead listening to what He has to say about my situation.

Having been born again in the 1980's we sinfully did some backsliding earlier this year, living outside of God's will, we got into smoking marijuana and sold a couple of bags to a "friend" who turned us in. We were arrested and charged with "possession of marijuan with intent to deliver" We KNOW we made a mistake and sinned. We confessed our sin to God,repented and gave up using drugs of any kind. Also turned our lives back over to God and ask Jesus to guide our steps daily. The prosecutor in the case is VERY hardhearted and is not willing to work with us in any way, eventhough it is a first offence! He is not willing to release any of our impounded property ( motorcycles,computers,cameras, etc. that WERE NOT purchased by or used in any "drug transactions") the amount of marijuana was very minimal that we had. Please pray that God will soften the prosecutors hard heart, and bless us with divine favor. That our lawyer would do the best possible job he can, and he will let God lead him ( he is a christian) We pray for favor in the judges eyes, and that the perfect will of Almighty God is brought to pass! We KNOW we messed up!!! We thank Jesus for His forgiveness! We ask God to intervene and change hearts, and to bless us with minimal punishment ( as we have greatly punished ourselves over all this) we never sold marijuana to others, just these "friends" whom we HAVE forgiven

Please, keep this in prayer.  4 years ago, I was a member of a Southern Gospel Group in Florida, I have been off the road for 3 years and I really desparately wnat to be back out there.  Please pray that God will bring my way, 3 other people to form a group with me.

I am keeping in faith-problems keep me awake-alot of bills to pay-and yet I feel it will all work out...Faith the foundation in all things...

I would like to thank everyone for prayers on my deployment, so far it is going good, but I would still like prayer for my wife as she is by herself.

Lord help her as she wrestles with 3 boys and will have another while I'm away, give her energy, have the boys behave well, and let time fly by so I may be back soon.
In your name I pray Lord amen.

Merciful God, thank you for giving us this new month and this new day, so that we may continue to serve in your holy name. Comfort those families struggling with illness and distress in regards to the recent outbreak of the flu virus. Guide us in the ways of righteousness, and help us to make good choices this month as many prepare for high school and college graduation. Be with those students as they prepare to go out into the world as adults, and grant them peace. In Jesus' name we pray.

I am asking for prayer to create the Dighton Kansas Cultural Arts Center dedicated to Christianity and the Arts. I must raise funds to buy an old church in Dighton which was donated to the city by a failing congragation. It is an historic old Lutherine church. I have asked the city to donate it for use as a cultural arts center and coffee house for teens. It would house a childrens theater, dance, arts celebrations, concerts and be available for weddings. The city has agreed to sell the building with renovations if I will pay the cost of renovations as a sale price.

Building and land appraised at $36,000
Renovations $32,000

Total price for the arts center - $32,500
In short - the building for free and the city will float the cost of renovations meeting all code for handicap and preserving historical significance of the building. Repairs include - new heating and air, electrical upgrade of all wiring and recepticles, additional bathroom which is handicap accessable, additional parking with exit and entry. Please pray that God would provide donors so that we can move forward.

My home was mysteriously pulled from the auction and rescheduled for April 7th. Praise God.

My house will go to foreclosure tomorrow. With it will go between 50 and 100 thousand in equity - with that go a number of chain reactions in my finances which includes losing my car and some other trivial stuff - please pray that i would let it all go to God and accept the outcome without concern or stress -
